I think he will especially with the prospect of sanctions against Oregon.

The article I just read in the Chicago Tribune makes it sound like Kelly to the Browns is a forgone conclusion.

Sources are telling CBS Sports' Jason LaCanfora that Chip Kelly has decided to stay at Oregon rather than accepting the Eagles' offer.
There has been nothing official from Kelly or the school, so don't put it in the books just yet. Showing Brett Favre tendencies as a waffler, Kelly has come close to signing with an NFL team for a second consecutive year only to have noted Oregon booster and Nike co-founder Phil Knight throw more money at him to stay with the Ducks. The Eagles move on with a candidate list that includes Bengals OC Jay Gruden, Broncos OC Mike McCoy, Seahawks DC Gus Bradley, Falcons ST coach Keith Armstrong, Falcons DC Mike Nolan, and Colts OC Bruce Arians.

If Knight throws more money at him then he should definitely stay whether or not they get sanctioned. Coaching in Oregon is a lot less stressful than coaching in the NFL!

I was wondering how much of a slap-in-the-face this is to the Browns, Eagles (and maybe the Cards/Bills?). Is this a decision that the open jobs aren't worth taking?

Shockingly I don't remember seeing anything about the Bears or Chargers wanting to interview him so maybe he didn't like the opportunities that were available to him. Even if a top tiered team wanted to interview him I think it might not be a bad idea for somebody like him to stay in college. The Iowa coach Ferentz has had a few opportunities to go into the NFL and has chosen to remain there. He seems to have a lot of job security and gets a great paycheck. The only way Kelly should go is if he dreams of coaching a Super Bowl champion. He still hasn't won a college national championship so he should keep his sights on that.

Changes mind apparently: Mort reporting he will be Eagles coach.

They're gonna have to try to get Vick back on the cheap because Foles isn't going to be a fit in that offense.

I wonder if they'll use those cute signs - I'm guessing they pull the one with the picture of the dog.

Too soon?
